Believe it or not, the most wonderful music in the world is the sound of nature. Through our A Cappella programme, you will find that group singing is fascinating and it brings you a step closer to nature’s sounds. A Cappella is a group singing without instrument accompaniments. It is an alternative singing pursuit to traditional choral & chapel singing. The advent of Beatboxing (Vocal Percussion) and stage craft has added new dimensions to the A Cappella genre and has become very prevalent in modern arrangements.
basic principles of language acquisition to the learning of music, and called his method the mother-tongue approach. The ideas of parent responsibility, loving encouragement, constant repetition, etc., are some of the special features of the Suzuki approach.
Once you’re enrolled in our programme, you will be included as one of the members of our A Cappella band, EarthTone Harmony. Together with the band, you will study voice ranges, chord structure, texture, voice expression, style and stage craft. We will work as a band to develop a performable arrangement of a contemporary tune. We will also work on some improvisational skills as we build vocal lines in our own voice/vocal percussion parts. EarthTone Harmony will be featured in our most happening gig, ET Alien Jam, whereby the students get to perform live onstage with an exciting crowd. We are the only music centre in the Sungai Besi area equipped with a professional stage, which allows us to expose our students to multiple show cases a year. Besides our in-house performances, our students are exposed to multiple events and concerts in venues all-over Klang Valley area. Through this experience, it helps to develop students’ confidence and musicianship. In addition, we will select the best performance song for a free studio recording session.
Our in-house instructors are qualified professionals who have great experience in A Cappella scene and stage singing performances. In addition, each semester, we will invite 2 guest instructors to teach stage craft, dance and beatboxing (vocal percussion) which helps to enhance the A Cappella performance onstage. The guest instructors have been in the music scene for more than 20 years and received numerous awards.
